Commissioned by Sam Bloom in honor of Rabbi Levi Olan. Original composition was scored for mezzo-soprano, tenor and chamber orchestra and premiered at Temple Emanu-El in Dallas, Texas in 1978. The revised version listed here was premiered at the Fairmount Temple in Cleveland, Ohio in 1991. "Set Me As A Seal" is also available separately for soprano/SATB chorus/keyboard.
