Psalm 29 (2001)
SATB/timpani/organ. In this setting, following the analysis of the Biblical scholar, James Kugel, the composer focuses on the description of the storm blowing in from the Mediterranean Sea. The timpani depicts the thunder and lightning accompanying the storm's fury. The conclusion subsides into a song of quiet thanksgiving.
